Basic Pool Safety

Safety must be the most important thing near any swimming pool.

It is now European law that owners make rental Villa pools safe by installing safety fencing around the whole pool area.

It´s a fact that many young children have drowned because of the lack of safety.  Make sure your pool is safe.  You don´t have to spend a fortune. 

A few things to help improve the safety of your pool 

Never leave young children unattended in or near a pool. Take care when sunbathing, as it is easy to fall asleep. 

Low cost safety fencing is available and can be easily installed. 

Display depth signs at each end of the pool so that everyone is aware how deep your pool is.

Make sure the areas aound the pool are not slippery.

Make sure your pool steps are clearly marked so people can see where they end.
